A devastating fire occurs and Horner is burnt to the ground

Horner Rebuilds one year after the fire.
1980
Horner is purchased by the Humphrey family
1981
Expands into commercial sales
1988
Horner opens first satelitte sales office and showroom in Southboro,
MA expanding into Central and Northern MA
1991
Cooper Stairworks and Phoenix Millwork of Fall River come aboard.
1992
NAMCO comes aboard.
1994
"Bargains-Closeouts" is opened in Fall River, MA, known
today as the Remodelers Outlet
1995
Horner opens a second satellite in Pembroke, MA serving the South
Shore.
1996
A 30,000 sq. ft. addition is added to the Production facility in
Somerset, MA taking on full custom millwork capabilities.
1998
Horner forms the Architectural Services Group to specialize in servicing
the needs of the Architectural Community.
2000
South Florida Millwork is acquired in Naples, Florida and a joint
venture with HomeSouth Architectural in Savannah, GA is established.
2001
Design Door in Medford, MA is acquired. Horner Commercial Sales
expands its territory North of Boston.
2002
A 40,000 sq.ft. addition is added to the Somerset facility.
2003
Martin Millwork is acquired and merged with Namco in order to better
serve lumber dealers throughout New England and Eastern New York.
2005
Cleary Millwork and Martin-Namco forming the new Cleary Millwork.
2008 - A satellite sales office opens in Nashua, NH to serve Northern, MA. Also, a new facility opened in Ft. Myers for the new home of Horner South Florida Millwork.
2010
Cleary Millwork and Saginaw Millwork merge. |
