Interviews

If a staffing team member believes you might be a match for a job you have applied for, you will enter our hiring process.  While the process may differ slightly for different roles or teams, the same basics apply for all positions. Here are some of the ways we assess candidates in our hiring process:

  • Phone chats:  Before diving into more in-depth interviews, you will typically have one or two shorter conversations over the phone. These will usually be with a recruiter and are designed to assess key skills needed for the role.

  • Interview: Our interview process is a chance for us to get to know you, and for you to learn a little more about us. We will ask you some questions to learn about your job and work experience and are happy to answer any questions you may have for us. Interviews are done either virtually via Zoom, or in-person.  Depending on the position, you could be interviewed by several people from the company.

  • Project work or Prerequisite: Some positions may require you to complete an in-depth questionnaire, complete a case study or a project.  This process will help you to demonstrate your experience and skills.

  • On-site tour:  For all plant positions, our 2nd interview process is an on-site tour with the department supervisor. The supervisor will show you the functions of the department, explain the role we are hiring for and answer any questions you may have.  (Before the on-site tour, all plant candidates must complete a tape measure assessment to gauge their ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”)

Decision and Offer

After we review the candidates for each position, we make an offer to the leading candidate.  If you accept the offer, we move on to scheduling any pre-employment drug testing, physicals and background screening.  Once all of these are completed successfully, the recruiter will walk you through the steps of onboarding and establish your start date.

If we do not select you for an interview or the position, we will notify you via email.  Sometimes we may call you back and discuss other openings that we believe you might be a good fit for.

The good news, we communicate with you so that you are not left waiting and wondering if you will be considered.  😊
